Gwendolyn German, passed November 15, 2009 at St. Joseph/Candler Hospital.
Gwendolyn was survived by her three sons, David German Sr. Yolinda, Wendell Bush Patricia, and Benjamin Perry Angie; one daughter, Tonya German; nine grandchildren: Maurice Brown, Patrice Howard, Brandon German, David German Jr., Quentin Jackson, Taylor German, Christopher Staples, Nicholas Gantt and Xaviera Gantt; eight sisters: Cassie Malloy, Geraldine Thomas, Helen Odums, Bernitha Vaughn, Sheila Herrington Kenneth, Gloria German, Francenia Mobley, and Carolyn Brown Robert; two brothers: William German Betty and Harvey German; one aunt, Florence Brown and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, church family, other relatives and friends.
Visitation: Thursday November 19, 2009 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel, with a Rosary Service at 6:30.
Funeral Service: Friday, November 20, 2009, 11:00am at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church, 441 East Broad Street 31401. Interment will follow at the Catholic Cemetery.
